MOI
Oh gypsy,
eyes of fire,
soul despair,
forefather's legacy.
Esmeralda child
radiant heart,
tambourine laugh,
fortune told.
Stay for me,
unsetted one,
the cards will tell,
I'm the one.

THE RIDE
Big girls in little cars,
like to take you out and show you the stars.
You know it's really hard to please them,
when you cant even hug and squeeze them.
Big girls in little cars,
cruisin around from bar to bar.
You got the smile and the radio,
lets go to the drive-in movie show.
Big girls in little cars,
lets jump in the back and take a chance.
Can't do it when you're behind the wheel,
a little kiss is all I'll steal.
Big girls in little cars,
you know it's really hard to do.
Makin love with a big girl like you
in such a little car.
Maybe I'd better walk.

How the Bayou Got it's Name
(a cajun tale)
Alphonse was a fisherman, all his life he was a fisherman. He caught the fish, sold the fish, and brought home the money. Alphonse was happy, he made a good living catching fish.
Alphonse was also happy because he had a beautiful wife.
Desiree was the wife of Alphonse and together they were very happy.
Desiree would spend here days waiting for Alphonse while he worked. Desiree would wonder what Alphonse would do all day in his boat. One day she asked Alphonse "What do you do all day on the river?". Alphonse replied "I catch the fish, sell the fish, and bring home the money, so we can have a happy life".
The next day while Alphonse was out catching the fish, Desiree thought about here husband and missed him. That night she asked "Can I come with you tomorrow to catch the fish?". Alphonse said firmly "No woman, the river is no place for you, the river is dangerous and will take your life". Desiree said no more. When morning came and Alphonse went out on the river to catch the fish, she went out and looked at the water wher Alphonse worked so hard, she didn't understand how it could be dangerous or take a life. That night when Alphonse cane home Desiree told him "I think you love that river more than me". Alphonse said "Woman, I work hard catching the fish. It's hard work, its too hard for you, the river will kill you, it will take your life". At this Desiree got very mad, and she told her husband, "I will go with you tomorrow and catch the fish, and sell the fish and we will bring home the money". What could Alphonse say, he loved her so much.
The next morning Alphonse and Desiree took off down the river to catch the fish. Desiree admired the hard work Alphonse did to catch the fish, and loved him even more. He sweated and strained to bring the fish into the boat. While Alphonse was bringing in a line he got tangled in it. Alphonse fell out of the boat, he could'nt get free. Desiree jumped into the water to try to save Alphonse.
At sunset some other fishermen found Desiree drifting down the river. Alphonse drown that day, he was never found. Desiree sits on the river bank and cries, calling to Alphonse...BAYOU...BAYOU.
